The International Spouses’ Association Of Ghana (ISAG) is a self-help group that was formed in 1994 by international spouses of Ghanaian citizens.

It focuses on providing a support system, social and business network and advocacy platform for international spouses from all over the world, resident or not in Ghana. ISAG enhances its members’ full participation in the social, cultural and economic life in Ghana with their Ghanaian families.

ISAG also advocates legal issues like citizenship and lobbied in 2013 when the new Act regulating foreign investment was reviewed in Parliament (in the new GIPC Act., the minimum equity contributions for foreign investors do not apply to spouses of Ghanaians - under some conditions - details can be obtained at help@accraexpat.com).

The 2019 Annual General Meeting took place on Sunday 26th May.

We invite eligible international spouses of Ghanaian citizens to sign-up and register to become a member. At a recent AGM, it was voted on to increase the dues from GHC100 to GHC150 a year and registration is a one-time fee of GHC50. Register here.

Fees can be sent via mobile money to our Hon. Treasurer, Susanne Prince Boateng, on 0249 207 070. Please make sure to add a subscriber’s 1% fee. Also communicate the reference code or your name when doing the transfer for record purposes. If you would like to pay using another method, please contact us by email isag1994ghana@gmail.com.
