THE ACCRA DIPLOMATIC CLUB IS IN A DORMANT STATE UNTIL INDIVIDUALS FROM THE DIPLOMATIC COMMUNITY EXPRESS INTEREST TO CREATE A NEW TEAM TO RESTART AND RUN IT.

Initiated by accraexpat.com, the Accra Diplomatic Club was created in May 2011 with a group of diplomats from various Missions in Accra.

The Club is established for the members of the Diplomatic Corps in Ghana (foreign-based staff of diplomatic, consular and trade missions and of bilateral cooperation agencies), accredited staff of international organisations and staff of Ghana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.


The launch reception took place on June 17, 2011 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, in the presence of the Secretary to the Cabinet, Office of the President, and of the Director General, Ministry of External Affairs and Regional Integration. 

The Accra Diplomatic Club held its first Welcome reception on September 30, 2011. Kickstarting the program of the new season, this yearly event was for the Diplomatic community to welcome all diplomats newly posted in Accra. The event was held yearly till 2014.

A debate was organized by ADC in November 2012 on the subject of the December 2012 General Elections.
